Don’t Miss the Next Professional Development Seminar

We are proud to announce we have two topics that will be presented at this seminar. If you have a topic you want presented in the future let us know. We are open to bring in folks for these seminars in the future.

The first speaker is Steve Necherro, Technical Applications Team, NCGC. Steve will be presenting the NRCS Geospatial Strategy for Elevation Data. Elevation data is critical to the agency. Steve will provide an update on what to expect in the future for elevation data.

Our second speaker is Mike Sporcic, National20Wind Erosion Specialist, CNTC. Mike will be presenting his work on the Wind Erosion Prediction System (WEPS) software model. The software has been under development for 16 years and has just recently been released to the field offices.

We will provide lunch to all members or any members who wish to join that day. Non-members can also attend for a cost of $5.00 to cover the meal. We will reimburse the first years dues for new members so there’s nothing to lose but a free meal and fellowship.
